Matisse's work can be described as bold, unrealistic, experimental and vibrant.
& was known to have travelled a lot which allowed him to be inspired by places such as new york & south France.
He tended to use materials such as paint on canvas and paper cut outs later on which is what I personally like.
Matisse until this day is influencing people from the ipod adverts to the 2010 Olympics logo.
